Sean began his coaching career back in 1997 as a student assistant for Antelope Valley Community College in Lancaster, CA. During that time he was a girl’s Varsity Assistant Coach at Bethel Christian High School in Quartz Hill, CA. Since that time Sean has had the opportunity to coach at a variety of levels, including Varsity Girls to middle school and seeing several of his players receive All Conference player of the year, All-State and compete in multiple state tournaments over the years. He has also been an instructor at UW-Whitewater, UW-Oshkosh and UW-Eau Claire as well as several clubs and High Schools around the state and the Midwest.

Sean has a bachelors degree in Physical Education with a minor in Coaching from UW-Whitewater. While there he was a member of the men’s club volleyball team. Most recently Sean has been coaching various teams at Kettle Moraine Middle and High School. He has served 2 years coaching the Girls 7th Grade team where in his 2nd season both the 7th and 8th grade teams won the conference championship; the first time in KM history.
He has coached 5 years as Boys Middle School Coach winning 3 conference championships with 2 runner ups while compiling a 66-7 record. 6 seasons as JV Boys Coach at Kettle Moraine High School winning 4 conference championships and finishing runner up twice. Over these 6 seasons he has compiled a 138-28 record with 11 tournament championships. For the 2015-2016 season, his 15national team took 1st at Badger Region Championships.
With over 23 years of coaching experience, Sean still enjoys learning new drills, techniques and methods from the other coaches that he works with. His favorite things about coaching are watching the players grow in the sport and seeing them continue to participate in the sport as they get older.
